Pricing FAQ
Yes. Module 1, your first days as a Shopify developer, is free forever, and every later module has a few free lessons so you can try before you buy. Pro unlocks all 110+ lessons across every module.
Both unlock exactly the same thing: every lesson, every module. Yearly is €290 up front, which works out to €24 a month: you pay for 10 months and get 12, so 2 months are free. Monthly is €29 with zero commitment and you can cancel in two clicks. If you expect to stick with it past a couple of months, yearly is the better deal.
Yes. Cancel from your account settings and you keep access through the end of the billing period. No retention emails, no exit interviews.
Full refund on any paid plan within 14 days of payment, no questions asked. Founder lifetime seats are refundable for 30 days because the commitment is bigger.
Not yet — we want to nail the individual experience first. If you're an agency or in-house team interested in a bulk arrangement, email hello@learnshopify.dev and we'll let you know when team plans open.
Yearly is a recurring €290 every twelve months (already 2 months free vs paying monthly). Founder lifetime is the same €290, paid exactly once. If you plan to use the platform for more than a year, founder is the better deal, and you keep voting rights and office hours that don't ship with the standard Pro plan.
Until Module 5 (Apps & the Admin API) ships. It's the launch-window deal: the people who back the platform while the curriculum is still growing get the best price it will ever have. When Module 5 goes live, the lifetime seat is retired, and it's also capped at 200 seats as a hard limit.
No, we don't bundle a Partner account — that's free to register directly with Shopify. What Pro gives you is the Northwind capstone: a full storefront build you can point clients at, which is the part that actually shows you can do the work.

From the founder
Hi, I'm Bas.
When I learned Shopify development, I noticed something weird. If you want to learn React, JavaScript, or Python, you've got Scrimba, Codecademy, freeCodeCamp, dozens of interactive, gamified platforms competing for your attention. Click through, build something small, see it work, repeat.
For Shopify, you get the Shopify docs (excellent, but plain) and a handful of good YouTubers. That's about it. No live editor in a browser, no tickets landing from a fake employer, no validator nudging you toward the patterns a senior dev would actually write.
I built learnshopify.dev because that gap shouldn't exist. The way frontend devs learn React by building small things and watching them work, Shopify devs should be able to learn by writing Liquid against a live storefront. That's the whole reason this exists.
Bas Lefeber, founder of learnshopify.dev
No card. No signup wall. No retention loop.
Open the workspace, read your first email, write a line of Liquid against a real Shopify storefront. Pricing only matters after you know this is how you want to learn.
