learnshopify.dev is an interactive Shopify-development training platform operated by Buzz Low (registered in the Netherlands). For everything else in these terms, "we" means that entity and "you" means anyone using the site.

An interactive learning environment for Shopify developers: lessons, an in-browser code editor, sandboxed Liquid runtime, validators, an AI mentor (when enabled), and supporting content (blog, projects, resources, roadmap).

During the open beta everything on the site is free for everyone regardless of whether you've purchased a paid plan. Paid plans unlock additional lessons once paid mode activates (planned for mid-June 2026 onward; see the roadmap).

Paid plans are charged in USD via Stripe. Monthly subscriptions renew every month; yearly subscriptions renew every year. The Founder Lifetime plan is a one-time charge with no renewal.

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account or from your Stripe Customer Portal link in any receipt. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

We may change prices. If we do, your existing subscription is honored at the price you signed up at until you cancel or change plans. New signups after a price change pay the new price.

We offer a 14-day refund on any paid plan, no questions asked. Email hello@learnshopify.dev with the email address you paid with and we will refund you within a few business days.

For the Founder Lifetime plan, the same 14-day refund window applies. After 14 days the purchase is final.

The lessons, code, validators, and AI mentor are for personal learning. You may use code you wrote in lessons in your own projects without restriction. You may not redistribute the lesson content itself, screenshot-record entire modules to publish elsewhere, or share your account with others.

The AI mentor is rate-limited per user. If you hit the limit frequently, the right answer is usually that the lesson needs clearer copy, email us and we'll fix it.

You can sign in with Google, GitHub, or a magic email link. We store your email, your progress, and any code you submit as part of a lesson. See the privacy policy.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@learnshopify.dev. We'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

We do our best to keep the platform up and the lessons correct. If you find a bug, a broken lesson, or anything that doesn't work as described, email hello@learnshopify.dev and we'll fix it as quickly as we can.

The platform is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, that every lesson is bug-free, or that following a lesson will result in any specific outcome (employment, project success, etc.). We're a learning tool, not a recruiter.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll email anyone with a paid plan at least 14 days before the change. For non-material changes (typo fixes, clarification), we'll just update the page. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
